The 8th Congress of the European Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (EAVLD) taking place 19–21 October 2026 in Athens, Greece.

The Congress will be hosted in the vibrant and historic city of Athens and will bring together experts in veterinary laboratory diagnostics from across Europe and beyond, providing a key platform for scientific exchange and collaboration in the field of veterinary and public health diagnostics.

EAVLD is an independent, non-profit association dedicated to improving veterinary and public health by fostering communication among veterinary laboratory diagnosticians and promoting the highest standards in European veterinary laboratories.

The scientific programme will highlight key developments in veterinary diagnostics, including emerging infectious diseases, novel diagnostic technologies, and their practical applications in veterinary and public health.

In parallel, an industry exhibition will showcase the latest innovations in laboratory equipment and diagnostic solutions.
