ECVCP Residents and Supervisors - A note regarding externships from the ECVCP Board and Chairs of the Education, Exam and Credentials Committee
As most regulations regarding the SARS-COV-2 pandemic have relaxed, residents are encouraged to take part in externships that involve physical visits to other facilities, as much as possible. These types of externships are invaluable for broadening the scope of practical experience and for professional networking.
Online externships will still be accepted for the time being but it is not ideal for the training of a resident that online courses and congresses are the only external exposure residents receive.
